The Lesley Needle Roll

I’ve been knitting socks recently. The most recent pair has taken a rather long time. I’m afraid I have developed a case of second sock syndrome.

And in classic second sock syndrome fashion, I’ve been doing a lot of things to distract myself from the finishing my sock project. On the top on my distraction list has been designing a double pointed needle roll. When it comes to tubular projects, I prefer working with double points over circular needles. I know that might be old school of me, but I really like the hand feel of double points. Plus, I have a lovely collection of wooden double point that I like to show off, which totally justifies why I need to take time away from knitting my second sock to design a needle roll.

The Lesley Needle Roll is the perfect little companion to The Heather Project Bag and can be whipped up in less than hour. To complete the project your need:

  • 1/2 yard exterior fabric
  • 1/4 yard contrasting interior fabric
  • 12 inch of ribbon

I tried my hand at creating a video tutorial for y’all. I’ll be creating more videos as time goes on, so if you like this one subscribe to the Think Crafty YouTube page.
