Hello! My name is Cat Angst. Think Crafty Design is my company.

I subscribe to a do-it-yourself mentality. Whether, I’m sewing my own bags or building my own website I love learning and creating. I’ve been crafting for as long as I can remember. I regularly knit, embroider, quilt, and sew. I get great satisfaction from designing fabric and creating sewing patterns.

I also love cooking, hiking, and my cats: Newton and Penny. My favorite dish to make for my family is galumpkis, a polish stuffed cabbage dish. I’ve hiked two of the east coast’s highest peaks, Mt. Mitchell and Mt. Washington. My dream vacation would be hiking and camping through the redwood forests of the Northern California.

I grew up in Reading, Pennsylvania. Now Durham, North Carolina is home.
